Business audience. Niatel primarily serves legal entities (B2B). This Privacy Policy explains how we process personal data when you use our Website, contact us, or interact with us offline. Nothing here reduces your non-waivable rights under applicable law.

1) Scope

This Policy covers processing of personal data on the Website and in related communications (e.g., contact forms, emails, support). It does not apply to third-party websites or services that we do not control.

2) What Data We Collect

Data you provide: contact form entries, emails, RFP/RFQ details, support messages, business contact information (name, work email, phone, company, role), and contract/billing details.

Automatically collected (necessary): server and security logs (IP address, user-agent, timestamps, requested URLs/referrers), basic device/region and pages viewed—used for operations, reliability, and abuse prevention.

We do not intentionally collect special-category data via the Website and we do not knowingly collect data from children (see Children).

3) Purposes & Legal Bases

  • Operate and secure the Website: load pages, prevent abuse, ensure availability — legitimate interests.
  • Respond to inquiries and pre-contract steps: quotes, demos, support — pre-contract or legitimate interests.
  • Perform a contract: order fulfillment, invoicing, account administration — contract.
  • Compliance and protection: legal obligations, dispute handling — legal obligation and legitimate interests.
  • Newsletter: if you subscribe, we process your email (and optional name) to send updates and marketing. — consent (unsubscribe anytime).
  • Analytics (cookieless): aggregated, non-identifying usage insights without cookies — legitimate interests (you can object anytime).

4) Minimal Sharing

We do not sell personal data and we do not share it for third-party advertising. We disclose data only to:

  • Processors (e.g., secure hosting, email delivery, CRM/helpdesk, optional analytics) under contracts with privacy and security obligations;
  • Security tools: our forms use Google reCAPTCHA v3 to prevent spam and abuse. reCAPTCHA collects hardware/software information (e.g., IP address, device details) and shares it with Google for security purposes. Use of reCAPTCHA is subject to Google’s Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
  • Maps: if you view our Contact page with an embedded Google Map, Google may set cookies and process data as described in their own Privacy Policy.
  • Professional advisers where necessary; and
  • Authorities when required by law or to protect rights.

5) International Transfers

If we transfer data to other countries, we use lawful safeguards where required (e.g., standard contractual clauses). Details are available on request.

6) Cookies & Analytics

Current status: only strictly necessary cookies are used to run the site. We use cookieless analytics that do not set cookies or identify individuals. No optional cookies are in use at this time.

7) Retention

  • Web/server logs: up to 12 months.
  • Contact inquiries: up to 24 months after last interaction.
  • Contract/billing records: per statutory requirements (typically 10 years).

When data is no longer needed, we delete or irreversibly anonymize it.

8) Security

We use administrative, technical, and physical measures appropriate to the risk (e.g., access controls, encryption in transit, logging). No online service can be 100% secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security against threats beyond our reasonable control.

9) Your Rights

Subject to conditions and exceptions in applicable law, you may have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, object, data portability, and to withdraw consent (for consent-based processing) at any time.

10) Complaints

You can lodge a complaint with the Personal Data Protection Agency in Bosnia and Herzegovina (AZLP) or with your local authority, and you may seek judicial remedy. We encourage you to contact us first so we can address your concerns promptly.

11) Third-Party Links

The Website may link to third-party sites/services we do not operate. We are not responsible for their content, security, or privacy practices. Review their policies before providing data.

12) Business Customers (B2B)

We mainly process professional contact details of representatives of our customers and suppliers. Each business remains responsible for informing its personnel and for compliance as an independent controller for its own systems.

13) Children

Our Website and services are intended for business use and are not directed to children. We do not knowingly process children’s data.

14) Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy to reflect legal, technical, or business changes. We will update the Effective Date at the top and, where required, notify you and/or seek consent for material changes.

16) Liability & Risk Allocation

To the extent permitted by law, Niatel is not liable for unauthorized access that occurs despite reasonable security measures, for your failure to secure your devices/credentials, or for the acts/omissions of independent third parties (e.g., hosting providers, browsers, telecom carriers). Nothing here excludes or limits statutory obligations or your legal rights.
